Check out the one and only, King Righteous as he performs his new single, “Real Ones”. This is a quality video with some nice production and King Righteous holds nothin’ back. Born Ross Lee Henderson, He hails from Rochester, NY and is really making his presence felt as a new artist on the scene.
Music has always been important in his life. He grew up listening to various types of music, which is also shown in his own music. The artists that influenced him are NAS, Big L, Big Pun, 2Pac, Biggie Smalls, Jay z. He started rapping at the age of six, during the 1990s. He used and continues to use rapping as one way to express his thoughts.
After a few years he started recording music in the studio at the age of twelve. With each year of recording, he became more comfortable with the studio environment and just knew he was on to something. His first public performance was at the age of fifteen at a local talent show.  After that performance, he received great feedback and that is what made him want to become a rapper.
Another reason he feels comfortable in the studio setting could be from his father. His father was a great musician whom he admired dearly.
